  I grabbed a slice and sat at the Heidelberg and had a cold beer the slice was so good I had to get another before I finished my beer. I’ve been coming to this place since I was a kid and it has always been amazing. it was great seeing the owner and his son today and chatting. I’ve lived in Brooklyn for 11 years now and work at a pizzeria and still whenever I come down I have to get a slice.

  Decent pizza. Crust is amazing. Sauce great too. The distinction with this pizza is the prevalent taste of Romano cheese (or similar of) mixed with the mozzarella which threw the pizza off for me.
  Otherwise I'd give the pizza 5 stars.

  I grabbed a slice today as soon as they opened. The pie was about 5 minutes old and as fresh as it gets. This is a good slice with a somewhat sweet sauce. Good crust as well. I can understand why there is a sort of cult following for this place. Included is a photo of my half eaten slice for reference lol... Good guys behind the counter too
