Pinewood Village

I live in the Coram Heatherwoods. I am happy to have access to laundry, a pool & a gym. I utilize them all. Im happy to have a path to do my jogging. I love my apt upper deck, and the fact I have a/c & a dishwasher. The maintenance staff is very responsive, they deserve a raise. Heatherwoods takes good care of the grounds & buidling. My 2 complaints would be, my particular a/c unit is not very cold because its old. Ive mentioned it several times, it needs to be replaced with a modern one. Most of the a/c units in Coram need to be replaced. Lastly n most importantly, the rent increases every year, theres not a year it doesnt go up so the turnover here is high because eventually the rent increases push people out. You will always see people moving out n when I ask them its always the same answer "i cant afford the rent anymore". Im trying to hold on as long as I can because Im very happy here, they do take good care of us, but eventually it will push me out too. All in all I DO recommend Heatherwoods, its better than Fairfields.

Recently my microwave malfunctioned. I sent a help request to maintenance dept. The local Super responded as well as the Resident Assistant. My appliance was checked over and it was decided to replace the item. A few days later two of the maintenance staff came with a new ,similar microwave installing it and removing the old one . The procedure took about 15 to 20 minutes to do. They were friendly caring and professional in what they did. I am grateful to the Heatherwood Pinewood Village staff for their attention and assistance to me. The new microwave works just fine. Thank you! Joseph Raffaele

During my apartment search, I contacted a community that had no vacancies, but Tamara, the leasing agent, went above and beyond by thoroughly researching and presenting me with numerous available apartments from other communities. Her dedication and exceptional customer service transformed my experience, ultimately helping me find the perfect place to call home

the super was was on time called promptly. with in the 48 hour windiow to tell me he was coming to fix my toilet... he had the part on site and changed it with 5 minutes so fast courteous and sdidnt make a mess.

Just wanted to share the positive experience I had lasing an apartment at the Pinewood Village Apartments. I would like to share that I'm a disabled senior citizen and qualify for Section 8 housing so there were a lot of things that needed to be done to make the leasing of this apartment There was a ton of paperwork and a lot of moving parts. If it wasn't for all the help I received from the leasing department, and in particular the leasing manager Thomas Quicker I would have never been able to complete the process on my own.
He was kind , courteous and way above and beyond the call of duty to guarantee that I did everything I needed to do in order for me to fully comply and qualify for my subsidized housing. He also made sure that all the appliances along with the carpeting were all brand new, and that the apartment was freshly payment. I'm eternally grateful for all the time and energy he devoted in order to make moving into my new residence a reality.
