  I needed a new custom mooring cover for my Classic Boston Whaler 22. Pily came to my house to discuss the job and measure. I was given an estimate that was 1/3 less than nearby competition. The new cover was a redesign that goes from transom, over side rails, and over bow pulpit. Came back to fit the fabric within a reasonable time...weather did not cooperate.
  He drilled and added additional snaps to the rail without chipping the gelcoat.
  The final product is a work of top craftmanship. He doubled and tripled panels that touched ss rails and gunwhale contact points. He added extra (vinyl?) padding where fabric touches at abrasion prone areas. He mounted two support posts so water will not pool inside rails.
  All in all an excellent job. Water sheds, tight fit, excellent stitching, and it looks cool too.
  Language barrier was a small issue but we were both very patient with each other.
  I am very pleased with the whole process.
  Canvas shops are notoriously unreliable and unresponsive.
  Pily is the exception.
