(August 2, 2023, 9:47 am)We had a great meal complete with live entertainment at the Pickled Owl. This restaurant serves a variety of NY beers on draft (a must for us while traveling), and offers a variety (read: more than one) vegetarian and vegan menu options! However we were disappointed to learn that some menu items were “out” or not available during our visit. In addition, our table service was under the care of the bartender. As you can imagine, this was quite a tall ask, and we were left waiting (and thirsty!) for a bit longer than we like. Of course, we know that staffing issues are a problem everywhere, so I would not hold this too strongly against the Pickled Owl.

(June 30, 2023, 1:27 am)We came here because we were looking for a nice, chill local pub to get some good food while we were in the area. We were blown away by the quality of the food...it was the best burger and fries I've ever had in my life. I was stuffed halfway through but still ate the whole thing because it was just that good. Even the pickle it came with was uniquely tasty. Our server said he was new and seemed a bit nervous, but was still super on top of trying to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. I cannot recommend this place enough!

(April 1, 2023, 8:40 am)Love this place! We have been twice while staying in the area (on two separate trips) and the food and service are fantastic. The first time (late Dec 2022) we had a server on her first day and she was great/did not even seem new. The food is terrific, I've always had a nonalcoholic bloody Mary and their mix is among the best I've ever had. The decor is really cute and they feature a craft corner to sell handmade items by local artists. Everything here is great!
