Well organized training and clear expectations. There is set protocols for different types of authorization. I used to work in a providers office and this is very different in a good way, so the expectation cannot be the same as a providers office. It is productivity based so the more you do the more you make. Sometimes work is slow but they try to assign work fairly to make sure you reach your quota. did I mention how nice it is to work from home?
I've been working at Phoenix for almost 2 years now and highly recommend them as a place of employment. The training is detailed (must pay attention) and the entire team is always willing to help each other. I appreciate that even after training, if you are still not 100% sure of what you're doing, management is there to help you. Even if you feel the training was rushed or not enough, you can always request a one on one training session expressing your concerns. This is what I did when I first started working here and it was very helpful. This is my first job working from home and so far it's been a great company. I currently have a position as a call handler, and it is basically being a medical receptionist in a fast paced clinic.
I have never had the detailed training as I did with prior auths for this company. the trainers were encouraging and always helpful. they even give you a manual to use so you don't have to ask so many questions. Great money, fantastic hours, consistent work with no commute to work!
I have been doing prior authorizations for 15+ years. I wanted to work from home since COVID, and PPS allowed me that opportunity. I enjoy the flexibility of my schedule. The money certainly doesn't hurt either! The work is steady and you know what to expect every day. I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking to work from home and make great money at it. The only con is it is an 1099 position and not an employee.
Not an easy job! it takes commitment and hard work but the money is great once you get the hang of it. Bonus system and sometimes my checks are close to $2000 bimonthly. Very dedicated staff, always there to help and assist you to make your production.
