  It's a little piece of home. I get my Filipino staples here. They have some fresh produce, frozen, pantry, spices, pre-made, and made to order. All great things

  If you love ube/purple yam this is the place to go lol. Prices are reasonable, Great selection in Filipino goods & very friendly people 💜🙂 I would definitely recommend to a friend & visit again.

  I want to say "hidden gem", but I think I'm the only Long Island Filipino who didn't know about this place. I mean, even white folks were shopping with me. Great inventory: they have Sansrival (whoever came up with this name should be canonized a Bad Saint.*) My diet is going to hell in a blue box tied with a Red Ribbon (see what i did there?)... The fifth star is for me not having to drive to Queens to get the good stuff; I think they can go bigger and maybe add a resto. But guess what? They cater.

  When I was little, my Mom’s Filipino colleagues would bake these amazing Ube cakes for us and also bring us something called Hopia. That was my first encounter with Filipino food and I fell in love.
  
  So glad this place is around the corner from home. Every time I crave random stuff, this is where I come. Their Ube cake is amazing. I’d say it’s slightly pricey, like it’s tiny and costs 20 bucks, but totally worth it. Love coming here. Always go back with something random and this time I got the Ensaymadas (Regular & Ube) - about 2 bucks each. They are both really good and I’m saving them as week-day pick-me-ups.
  
  P.S. I wonder why it’s spelt Filipino, I always thought it’s Philippino, like Philippines 🇵🇭
