  A site rich with history and perhaps was first a Native Sacred or Spiritual site. For me the feeling of Reverence is quite Intense here. This is the "Old Town" center, Town Hall and a Church, with stonework that are wonderful to see, from the current Steps to the Historical Stoop, there are very nice stone patios. These buildings are lovingly maintained, and were freshly painted in 2021.
  
  The graveyard is an enigma steeped in rich History and played a role in the last battle of the American Revolution, Shay's Rebellion.
  
  Most of the headstones in the graveyard bear no markings whatsoever which adds to the mystique of this site, especially if you visit in the fog like today. I am so moved by my short visit yet the rains sent me along my way. I will be back again soon.

  Has a really interesting landmark, dedicated to Daniel Shays, one of the leaders of Shay's rebellion. If you like history and you're in the area, stop by for a minute. See some graves dedicated before the American Revolution. Read a plaque. It's worth the time.
