  A small hike down the road and we can reach this place. A nice play to just get into water and enjoy. The water is extremely cold and it takes some time to get into water and adjust to the cold temperature. We weren’t able to see the blue color but we got to see the emerald green. This has permit to be entered and they limit the permit to 50 passes a day during May - Sep. permits are obtained online through reserve america website.

  There are different areas to park your vehicle. We went early afternoon so where we parked was further down. After parking, we noticed there was a waterfall area- great for photos. About a mile down the road is where the swimming hole is. Like many of the reviews posted, we went on a very hot day and the water was frigid. You don’t expect that but it is refreshing. It’s best to take water shoes with you.

  Pure Crystal clear water , refreshing, cold , rejuvenating. It just gorgeous scenery. Its open from sunset to sundown .Peekamoose It's a very busy place. It requires reservation max for 6 people per vehicle. There are portable restroom. No alcoholic Beverages, no glass bottles , no fire. Go and enjoy!

  Really enjoyed this place
  It was tricky to find but it was right off the road. No fees or anything. Water was ice cold (saw ice/snow still on the mountain) but soo blue and beautiful. Went in the Spring time, its not so crowded but heard it does get crowded. Mini waterfalls on the way.

  Clean water. Friendly staff. To park you need to reserve and it's $10 for 6 people max. There are some portable bathrooms on the way to the blue hole.
