  I've been on several OutYork hiking trips and it has been very enjoyable. The leader is extremely kind and does his best to make sure everyone signed up for the hike is comfortable and enjoys each moment of there day out along the way. Every trail so far that I have done with them has been a fantastic experience and I loved getting out to explore nature with a group of people. I look forward to being a part of many more day trips with OutYork and I would recommend it to anyone considering giving it a try.

  The best hiking guide ever, Victor knows so much about hiking and he makes you feel safe on the hike. He makes sure everyone is having fun the whole time. I highly recommend him.

  I've been on several excursions with Outyork Adventures and enjoyed them all. Victor is a skilled and friendly leader who's passionate about bringing people together and finding interesting trails (and other places) to explore. There's a mix of familiar and new faces at each meetup, and we all seem to be on the same page about wanting to experience nature, have fun, and find community. Grateful I found this group!

  These hikes are great. They are all accessible by public transportation from Grand Central (via Metro North). So no need for a car and no need to search for parking at trailheads, which can be difficult during peak seasons. The train time is mostly the same as driving to the trailheads anyways. The hikes are for most levels. I consider myself a beginner and of average fitness level. Some hikes are more challenging than others, but the views at the summits are worth it! Victor’s hikes have shown us that NY is such a beautiful state, more than NYC. These hikes give me the opportunity to explore which I probably would not have done on my own.
