  This is by far the best flight school I have been too. They not only care about you becoming a pilot but also becoming a competent one that is safe and is knowledgeable. I was fully prepared for all my check rides. The aircraft rental that is offered is a great way to keep up with flying while not in training and make great day trips.

  Looking for a school that really wants their students to succeed? Orlandi Flight Center is where you go. It is a rare find anymore to have a flight school that takes the time to provide ground instruction and incorporate classroom learning into your flight training. Though it may not be the most the glorious part of aviation, it is a must. Flight instructors are well knowledgeable and thorough. Aircraft are well maintained and I encountered very little if any down time during my accelerated commercial multi training. Definitely worth at least a phone call into Orlandi Flight Center to see if it is a right fit for you today.

  I needed to build multi time for the airlines. Orlandi flight schools is one of the only places that does an exceptional job in training, solo rentals, and checkouts in a multi engine aircraft. Building my 25 hours was an easy process, would recommend ! And I will be returning.

  I'm a rusty pilot trying to get back in the saddle. I've always thought that tail wheel training would be a good kick in the pants to hone the fundamentals and correct some bad habits. I heard about Geoff Orlandi from a local pilot. After seeing some reviews I knew that he was the guy I needed, but the only problem was that I live 3 hours away! I ended up doing an accelerated tail-wheel course with Geoff and stayed in the area for a weekend to get it done. It was a challenging, yet amazing experience! I learned so much! This may sound silly, but even for something as mundane as the pre-flight inspection, Geoff taught me how to do this "hands on", and it will forever changed how I pre-flight airplanes. I'm looking forward to returning for some warm weather flying in the mighty J3 cub with the doors open!

  Flying with the folks at Orlandi Flight Center has been a dream come true. Soaring just above the clouds at sunset in the Cub — with the door OPEN — is hands down the most incredible experience I’ve ever had.
  
  Geoff is a class act. It’s rare to come across somebody so skilled in their profession, but also so adept at teaching others. He’s the embodiment of professionalism, safety, virtuosity, and style. Every critical safety lesson is backed up with a personal anecdote from his storied career, which inspires an added level of confidence every time I hop into the cockpit.
  
  Driving out to Blairstown each weekend is almost like being transported to a different era. Nestled in sprawling farmland, the airport is quiet, friendly, and well maintained, and the surrounding airspace lets you focus on learning to fly the airplane without the air traffic congestion of NYC.
  
  If you’re thinking about giving OFC a call, all I can say is: what are you waiting for?
  
  P.S. Geoff also runs a sister flight school down in Tampa, FL. I highly recommend scheduling some time down there with him during the winter months to explore the gorgeous bay area!
