  If you are searching for an exceptional ophthalmologist, then you have come to the right place. Dr Pegalo and his staff are so efficient, friendly, kind, and completely thorough. Dr Pegalo makes sure that you understand all of his diagnosis and test results. I have been coming to Dr. Pegalo for the last 25 years. I live in the Canton area and could easily find another group up there but I refuse to trust my eyes to anybody else except for Dr. Peter Pegalo.

  Really great doctor and office overall! Everyone is very kind and trustworthy. I moved away for a few years and when I moved back to CT I didn’t want to see anyone else.

  I can not reccomend them enough!! If you have unusual eye issues and have never really found the right solution, you need to go here. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. It took me 35 years but finally found the right eye doctor!!

  I’ve been seeing Dr. Pegolo for over 15 yrs and he is always thorough and kind. I trust him and rest of staff to keep me informed and make sure I understand my exam and results. I highly recommend the practice.

  I love Optometric Specialty Group! I’ve been going here (West Hartford location) for 3 years now and Dr. Pegolo is the BEST. From the front reception staff, to the technicians, to the eye exam, the entire process is painless and quick. Dr. Pegolo always explains everything in a manner that I can understand, and his humor and personality make going to the eye doctor fun for once! I know I’m always in good hands when I go there. Would definitely recommend them over and over, and will continue to go back!
