Friendly employees (staff and individuals) are ready to answer any question or help me check out with my purchases. Their inventory is always changing, which makes revisiting the store every couple months exciting. I've also had great experiences with requesting custom pieces, such as a Cornhole game with my family's business logo on the boards. I've been buying and gifting OWC's handmade home decor and jewelry for the past 4-5 years and I've never been disappointed.
Experience as a employee: I've worked at OWC for almost 2 years as of January 2020. I can say that I've seen a lot of good growth in both management & community. Although not perfect, communication from management to employees has greatly improved since I was hired. Management has also been prompt, fair, logical, and professional when addressing unsavory situations, complaints, and workplace drama. No work place is perfect, but OWC acknowledges its flaws and works to fix them. I would consider it a fun, diverse, and rewarding environment to work in, and as long as you're polite, present yourself professionally, and do your job properly OWC can be a great place to work--and make some friends along the way. -
