  Delicious. If you’re looking for yummy bbq food this is the spot. My husband & I ordered pulled pork sliders to split along with the baby back ribs, so scrumptious. We also split the cranberry apple salad, the champagne dressing was so yummy. Lucy was so wonderful & fun. Such an awesome waitress. Thanks for an incredible feed. See you when we are back in the Catskills.

  Came here while visiting Kingston- super cute place, very nice sitting along the water. We had the fried green tomatoes, sliders and meatloaf and some drinks. The service and cadence of the food was good. The food was okay- good-ish, not great. Just overall needed more flavor. The meatloaf was the best. The Mac and cheese and fried green tomatoes were a bit bland, the sliders were plain old sliders. Overall it was a nice experience, just expensive for the quality of food. It was $97 for 1 entree, 2 apps, 2 beers and one margarita. I assume the prices are like this because of the location and I’m guessing they cater to NYC crowds. It wasn’t overly expensive but was for the area and for what we got. Felt like we overpaid about $15, not a big deal. Would definitely recommend this place for the overall ambience and drinks and light fare on the waterfront. Definitely a solid 4-ish stars though, they just need to up the food a bit.

  There's still space, even when it's crowded! We had to park all the way on the other side of the Rondout and walk over. The outside front and side of the restaurant was filled with a Red Devil motorcycle convention, and the inside with a Hudsy networking event. But we were seated immediately outside on the back porch overlooking Rondout Creek with a beautiful view reaching almost to the Hudson River.
  Great for BBQ lovers. The selection for vegetarians is more limited, but quite delicious - mushroom ravioli, piled high with delicious oyster mushrooms. A little salty, but excellent.
  An excellent location for visitors to enjoy their visit to Kingston and for locals too.

Ole Savannah strikes me as a restaurant struggling to reconcile conflicting impulses. Some aspects — the local, pasture-raised meats sourced from nearby Fleisher's; the organic, heirloom grits from Anson Mills; the focus on local spirits, beers, and wines; and the menu designed by Chef Callaghan are likely to appeal to a certain crowd.
