(July 7, 2023, 3:01 pm)Old(e)-school apizza outside New Haven, and just as excellent a pizza maker as the more famous names. Bare-bones inside, and a brisk takeout business judging from our time there. Absolute ton of Foxon Park sodas, as befits any apizza palace.
But of course, the pizza. (Sure, there's a full menu that I'm sure is great, but come on.) We ordered a pepperoni, and a mashed potato/bacon pie, and chatted with the friendly owners while they baked in the brick oven. Just delicious, crispy crust, very thin, partly charred undercarriage like the style should be, and impossible not to finish everything.
Reasonable - honestly, rather cheap - prices, and they are cash-only. Well worth a detour if you find them open. -

I got a small mozzarella with hot cherry peppers and my wife got the gluten free cauliflower crust with artichoke. We at the pizza in the car while driving. It was so delicious and you know the ingredients were top notch because there was no oil dripping the crust was so delicious. I hate my whole pizza in the car and it was delicious! 5 stars all around!

(January 26, 2022, 9:50 pm)Olde World Apizza is absolutely delicious. I enjoyed every bite of their food. If you haven't tried it you definitely should. I believe it's only pick-up, and they only accept cash or check.
The restaurant is located next door to Frontier (brick building) on the corner of Whitney Ave and Skiff St. -

(June 26, 2020, 1:13 am)Top 3 place to eat pizza in all of new haven county, maybe even in CT. Cash or check only but who cares its so worth it. Plenty of sauce for you, crust is perfectly cooked, and plenty of fresh ingredients. Order now.
