My story is this:
We (my husband and I) signed up for some trial classes. When they were done, I quit. It was so different for me. I had never dealt with weights before. "I'll just sign up for a gym membership and do my own thing.", I said to myself. A month later, my husband was down 27lbs and I was still in the same spot I was a month ago. So, I put all my excuses aside and signed back up. I'm definitely glad I did!
I've tried the gym membership thing before and would walk in and feel lost. At Old World Strong, you just need to get there. Carlo and Shonda have the warm up and the workout set up already. Just show up ready to work hard.
When I started, I couldn't even do 1 push up. I had shingles in my arm at 16 and was told I would not be able to lift above 10lbs overhead anymore. I lift well above 10lbs by now and am not limited like I used to be. I've hit so many goals at Old World Strong over the past 3 years. But more than just being able to do push ups and feeling/looking better, OWS has given me confidence in myself. The coaches and the members truly care about you as a person. Everyone cheers one another on. We all have our different strengths and weaknesses and anyone there will stop to help you if you need help.
I've met some of my closest friends there, have shed tears there, have laughed til I cried there. OWS is not just another gym, it's my second home!

Owner operator and wife very knowledgeable and helpful with with different peoples limitations. Always has new workouts. Never the same which I super fan of. Always challenging mind,body and soul. Glad I found this gym. Old world strong is where you wanna be no matter what level of fitness you are at.
I am coming up on 31/2 years at OWS and still getting stronger and have kept off the weight that I had when I started! What’s amazing to me is that iam still able to set more goals that I would like to reach where I would have quit like everything else if I was somewhere else! The coaches are the frontline in the gym and the reason people like myself love OWS! It doesn’t matter where you’re in your life cause the coaches will take the time to know you and to find out your goals! I could keep going but will stop there. Lol You will not be sorry for coming in and trying OWS out! First step is to come in!
