  I purchased a lamp (circa 1920's) from this business and I couldn't be happier! Cheryl was awesome to work with and kept me posted on everything from pricing, shipping info, shipping and anything else that I had a question on. The company that she deals with to pack and ship the items did a fantastic job and the lamp was firmly secured in a heavy cardboard container with bubble wrap and "peanuts". Once I had it unpacked there was no damage and it was exactly what I had expected, actually better than I had expected! I couldn't be more pleased with the the lamp and the whole experience to purchase it and get it to my home. A huge thumbs up to Cheryl and her business "Old Lamps and Things". I will definitely be a return customer!!

  Cheryl went out of her way to find exactly the parts I needed for my lamp and then shipped them to me under a tight deadline. My order was tiny, but Cheryl treated it like it was of the utmost importance. I'd give 10 stars if I could! Superb customer service!

  I recently stumbled on Old Lamps and Things while looking for anique lights for my old home, and I am so happy I did. I contacted Cheryl to get details on two beautiful lamps I saw on the website. Cheryl responded quickly with all the useful information I needed to make my purchasing decision. Additionally, she arranged to have the two floor lamps packed and shipped across the country. The lamps arrived in perfect condition. We are incredibly happy with the quality of the rewired lamps and friendly, expert service. Despite living on opposite sides of the continent, we will continue to reach out to Cheryl at Old Lamps and Things for our restoration lighting needs.

  What a lovely collection to be found here. Cheryl and Ron are kind, friendly folks who really care about what they do. I also really appreciated the proactive communication before I purchased my lamp and as we were planning the pickup. Well worth the drive. Would visit again!

  I had the best experience purchasing from Old Lamps & Things. The lamp base was a beautiful solid piece and is going to look lovely once rewired and with a lamp shade. It truly is a unique piece. Cheryl went out of her way to find me the fastest, most economic shipping method to Canada. I received my lamp base quickly and it was extremely well packed. I will definitely be checking back to see what new (old) lamp bases have been added to their website and I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase from them again. Thank you for the superior service!
