  Booked five nights in the King room overlooking the village green. It was perfect. Absolutely fantastic in every aspect and the innkeeper Jennifer was stellar. Gorgeously restored and well appointed. Comfortable beds, stellar double shower, elegant and very spacious room. Got tokens for delicious coffee drinks across the way at Morningbird cafe. A really nice touch. We played pool on a beautiful billiards table and dove into a terrific collection of books on Kinderhook and the Hudson Valley. I’m from Kinderhook originally and the “new” Old Dutch Inn far exceeds expectations. Please support this special one of a kind gem owned by a local family passionate about Hudson Valley agriculture and historic preservation.

  Extremely charming and well appointed boutique hotel in the Hudson Valley! I normally stay at The Maker but the Old Dutch Inn is even cuter and the rooms are bigger and more comfortable. Plus Kinderhook is the the most darling little town ever. Highly recommend!

  We travel frequently and our stay at Old Dutch Inn equals, and even surpasses, some of our best hotel experiences.
  Comfortably luxurious, luxuriously comfortable. Authentic yet completely unpretentious.
  This 200 year old property in Kinderhook has been renovated and modernized perfectly with impressive attention to detail in every way. From Frette linens and bath robes to top quality toiletries in the spacious bathrooms to a wide range of local history books in the lounge, nothing has been overlooked - including, from our large third floor room, the direct view onto the historic village green. We look forward to returning. Thanks to the proprietor, Jennifer for an exceptional stay.

  We booked a smaller room on the second floor for a 2 day holiday in Upstate NY. Instead we found ourselves in a Huge room with a view of the Village Green, and a King Sized Bed!
  
  The whole Inn seems Brand new, fresh and even the hallways have blended, warm colors. Our room was great and the huge windows onto the green had both curtains and easy to use blinds. The town is a sleepy little place and music, trucks or people talking too loud was never an issue.
  
  Although there we a couple of other guests at the Inn we felt we had the place to ourselves.
  The front room on the right had games, a self serve coffee system, lots of comfortable chairs where I was able to read up on bit of local history.
  The village and most places close up early or do not open at all on some week days.
  We found a Great Italian Restaurant a couple miles up the road, by the traffic circle, and it was worth the 10 minute wait for a table. You know it’s good when it is filled with local people.
  Only Bad experience we had was in a Bagel Shoppe across from the Inn. Avoid them and go around the corner to a nicer place.
  Great place and we are already thinking we want to return this fall to catch the Colors of the trees.

  Such a charming hotel, every detail is well thought out from the luxurious towels to the tulip shaped light fixtures. The rooms are spacious with calming, soft color palettes and the bathrooms are beautifully redone with marble tile. Nestled in the quaint town of Kinderhook and not a far drive to Hudson it’s a real find!
