  Kate is wonderful! She was perfect for our cocktail hour. She played outside in the heat, our guests loved her and it was a perfect touch to add. Highly recommend Kate to any brides. She will definitely not cause you any unneeded drama or headaches. She is on time and was wonderful to work with.

  Kate is a fantastic entertainer. She has partnered with my Senior Living Community for many years now and is always appreciated when she performs. She has a wide repertoire of genres to pull from and is agreeable to song requests. I love best how she is able to connect with my residents and encourages them to sing along to the tune. She has also performed for us as a background soundtrack for a few dinner events. I highly recommend Kate, especially if you have never experienced solo violin before. It is a sound that seems to be vanishing into the depths of the orchestra but can still absolutely stand on its own. 10/10

  We were so happy to have O’Brien Strings play at our wedding ceremony and during our cocktail hour. We had the violin and guitar duo and the quality of the music had us and our guests amazed and blown away. It was so wonderful and easy to work with Kate planning the song selections for the day. The addition of O’Brien Strings was exactly what we both imagined and made our day that much more special. O’Brien Strings comes highly recommended to you.   The OBrien Strings was the perfect addition to our school's commencement ceremony this year. The music was lovely and Kate was a pleasure to work with ahead of time--both professional and collaborative. I would highly recommend this trio for any event needing a touch of elegance, class, and beautiful sounding music.

  Kate was very communicative throughout the planning stages of our wedding and was very easy to work with. Her trio sounded fantastic during our ceremony and they were very professional. Her rates are fair and they were punctual. She made trio arrangements for two songs for us and they nailed them! I can’t wait to find another opportunity to hire O’Brien Strings again.
