(November 22, 2022, 1:26 pm)If you love traditional Japanese life, you would be crazy of it. They are just like our private chef and server. Quite and peaceful. The hot tub is amazing and huge.

(November 27, 2021, 5:24 pm)The place is cozy. The spring is perfect and comfortable. The meals are so delicious that on the second day we cannot wait to have dinner. Every piece of meal that Glenn brought out from kitchen gave us a big surprise. Realized what "real" Japanese cuisine really taste like after visited. Would definitely come again and recommend. Yumi really got talent, thank you for having us.

(November 17, 2020, 11:31 am)I cannot sing enough praises about this wonderful place! My boyfriend and I recently spent the night for our anniversary and had an amazing experience. The owners Glenn and Yumi were incredibly kind and we really felt taken care of. Both the dinner and breakfast were so delicious and the onsen was super relaxing. My boyfriend and I have been to Japan quite a few times and I myself have visited ryokans in Kyoto and this experience was identical to the ones I had while in Japan! We honestly forgot we were in America for a bit! Absolutely would recommend this lovely inn.

(May 27, 2018, 5:46 pm)My wife and I spent an evening at O gawa shou this past week for our anniversary. Glenn and Yumi were both very warm and welcoming. The food was excellent, and I would encourage anyone who chooses to stay here to go for their multi-course dinner option (breakfast is included in your stay). It greatly expanded my understanding of what constituted Japanese cuisine. The other amenities, especially the bath house, make for an experience you won't find anywhere else in New England.
