(April 24, 2023, 1:27 pm)I am a retired Registered Nurse who is soon approaching use of the Medicare Health System. I felt overwhelmed as I navigated through all the Medicare pamphlets, advertisements, and YouTube videos.
I consider myself fortunate to have been able to schedule an appointment with Carmelo DeFranco. He was very patient answering all my questions (there were a lot of them!) and so knowledgeable about Medicare plans.
Carmelo was thorough in explaining different options, pointing out the positive and negative aspects - if there were any - of each plan. I was impressed by his efficiency and timeliness when he called me the following morning and sent an e-mail to inform me that most of my doctors (including my husband's) would be accepted under the Medicare plan he proposed. He was kind and attentive while addressing my health insurance concerns.
Thank you Carmelo DeFranco and NYC Business Group! You are a wonderful resource and anchor in this perplexing health insurance transition. It was a pleasure meeting you. -

(December 2, 2022, 5:37 pm)even though I work in the medical field I sought out NYC Business Group to steer me in the right direction as far as my insurance needs. I first encountered them in 2015 to set me up with my Medicare and secondary insurance. In 2017 I was employed by the hospital so I took their insurance. 5 years later I am retiring so I returned to NYC Business Group to help me out again. Carmelo and Rosa, the owners remembered me from years ago and was as pleasant and well versed in the medical insurance field. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs help with their medical. They are good family people that consider your hearts as opposed to your pockets.
