  NorthStar vets has saved our cats life twice now.
  
  They are an emergency animal hospital so you generally can’t make appointments and they are triaging the highest needs cases. So the waits are long but it is worth it for the care you and your pet will receive.
  
  Every staff member from the front desk to the specialist vets is understanding of how tough it is to have a sick pet and do whatever they can to help you.
  
  I really appreciate how clearly they go through all the medical information to make sure you understand the options and costs up front.
  
  I imagine that their work is incredibly challenging from managing a busy wait room to treating all kinds of animals with different needs. I appreciate all they do and am grateful for the life saving care they provided our cat.

  I had to rush my beloved fur baby Roxy to the emergency vet on 4-28-23. She had been battling cancer for 3 years and was 15 years old. My family and I knew we had to end her suffering and it was one of the hardest things we had to do. The staff was amazing throughout this whole terrible experience. Very attentive even though they were super busy. Very caring with our beloved Roxy. They gave us the time to say goodbye and grieve and handled her with the utmost care possible. I can’t thank them enough for their support that night. Just received a sympathy card and a heart we can plant in our garden that will bloom and make us think of our girl. Thank you for your professionalism and support through a very difficult time.

  My dog hurt his leg chasing rabbits and refused to walk on it. I took him to NorthStar VETS to be treated. Unfortunately, we learned that he tore his cruciate ligament. I was very sad that he had to have surgery! However, the doctors and staff at NorthStar were above and beyond compassionate and professional when dealing with my puppers. Dr. Stobie did the surgery, and it went very well. My dog is still recovering, but he is on the mend quickly due to the detailed at home care instructions and medication. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the office, the prompt attention of the staff, and the compassion that my dog was shown when in their care. "People hospitals" have a lot to learn from vet clinics! My dog was well cared for, and I am VERY grateful for their help!

  The staff at North Star were incredible during one of the most devastating times in our lives. We unexpectedly had to put our rabbit to sleep the day after Easter. We had her for 9.5 years and she was a huge part of our lives. Dr. O'Longhlin and each tech we encountered were so caring. We truly felt like we were in the best hands. While the experience of losing our beloved rabbit was heartbreaking, we felt immense support from the North Star staff. Dr. O'Longhlin sent us a sympathy card just days later.   Everyone from the first phone call to my recent visit was amazing. I truly love this facility - They were so empathetic & everyone was so patient. I never felt rushed by anyone! Both Dr Jones & Dr Armstrong listened & took the care & time to answer any concerns-I am so greatful
  Everyone I encountered was amazing - - When I would call to check on Anna - I was always given an update - - They took pictures after surgery & Cut her nails & groomed her privates since she is unable to take a bath due to surgery- I wish everyone in the world was as caring as the staff at North Star. I love everyone here for keeping my precious Anna healthy. She is doing very well after 10 months post op!
