(February 12, 2021, 8:15 am)The Community Gardens is a nice area, located near the Village Hill. The gardens area is always interesting and lovely, even in winter, but the dog park, to the west of the gardens, is always busy! I don't have a dog to walk, but there is a nice walking trail, used by many, partly wooded, partly open field. Easy parking, although the lot is dirt and gets muddy. I see lots of dogs and all have been well behaved and leashed. There are a few picnic tables for nicer weather. A convenient area for dogs and people.

(March 10, 2020, 3:13 pm)This review is for the "dog park." Best place in Western Mass to bring your dog. All of them are off-leash and they love to play. Great trails to walk and the Mill River goes through the area, so it's the perfect spot for the pups to play!

(February 7, 2020, 5:35 pm)Unusually spacious community garden atop what was once called Hospital Hill. At that time, the gardens supplied fresh vegetables for the hospital.
