  North shore wound and hyperbarics has been a God sent. I was a cancer survivor after a bone marrow transplant in 2011. My cancer came back in 2021 in my spine. I did 3 different chemo treatments with zero improvement. I stopped treatment to let my body rest. I got a toe infection and the Dr taking care of my wound was talking about amputation. Thank God I found Dr Harrison. He got my insurance approved for 40 treatments. He and his A- team have been nothing but awesome. After a few weeks my toe was drastically better and is now fixed. I also had extreme neuropathy from chemo and radiation. I walked using a Walker and cane. I fell over a lot. The treatments started ti help and I stopped using my cane/Walker. No more falls. My legs work much better. I recently got a PT scan from my Cancer Drs. Guess what? The scan showed no Cancer. I have an MRI coming up to confirm. The big tube is the only thing that has changed in my cancer treatment. I can only believe that the treatments I have received has cured my Cancer. I am continuing treatments after my initial 40 because it is still helping my legs and other parts of my body. Thank you to you Doc and your whole team. You have treated me like Family. I am a 100 percent believer of Hyperbarics. KEEP GOING!

  I was VERY pleased with the hyperbaric treatments and staff. Everyone at the Massapequa hyperbaric place was totally professional and friendly. I went for 52 treatments and now I am happy to report that my osteomyelitis is gone and I still have my toe and foot. I am thrilled about this because I was looking at having an amputation thank you to doctor Harrison who took care of me I am grateful to him and his exceptional staff. I use to look forward to visits with Randy and had exceptional care from Mike and Nick who took good care of me. Vicky at the front desk is most knowledgeable and kind. A GREAT BIG THANK YOU TO THE ENTIRE STAFF IN MASSAPEQUA. Now that my osteomyelitis is gone I can get a kidney transplant. Thank you to this amazing team.

  I had extreme lethargy due to multiple factors. It was hard to function and do my daily tasks. Dr. Harrison was so compassionate and honest. I have completed 10 sessions and have more than all my energy back. Office is spotless. Nick and Mike are fantastic, I feel safe when I am in the chamber knowing they are there. Very grateful.

  Arriving yesterday at North Shore Health and Hyperbarics I was greeted as usual, like family. I consider myself an experienced hyperbaric patient as I have been here over 50 times since the summer of 2018. I come here after my immunotherapy IV treatments with Dr Stoff to enhance the absorption of my IVs and enjoy all the positive effects of breathing 100% oxygen. My first visit I was feeble, weak and hardly able to breath. I could only walk a short distance and when going up the stairs I had to take a rest. I couldn't carry anything and my once strong legs couldn't move the pedal on our life cycle machine. I was in rapid decline after a Pet scan revealed metastatic cancer had traveled from my breast to my liver. Over 50 to 60% of my liver was said to be necrotic ( Dead) or cancerous. The oncologist whom I went to so my insurance would cover my pet scan said I may only have 3 weeks to live. I am happy to report that 12 months later I have gone from a "metastatic mess" with critically abnormal lab values to lab values that are constantly improving and many are now within normal range. My body had become unrecognizable to me. I was skin and bones with a distended stomach that made me look pregnant. Currently I am feeling strong and my muscle tone is coming back. In March I was skiing at Mount Snow! I am so grateful to God, by Jesus stripes I am healed, to Dr. Harrison, Marcello, Lisa, Liz, Mike, Suzanne and Doug. Words can only briefly describe my gratitude. I believe my experience here has been a factor in regaining my health and saving my life from stage 4 liver cancer.
