  Incredible! We made a dinner stop here on our way to Maine. I have been in restaurant for many years so I can be more critical than the average gal. The jalapeño margaritas were great! Wine selection on par. They had a smoked brisket with fried onions, mashed sweet potatoes and spinach that I will crave for a long time! My husband had the short rib that you could cut with your fork and delicious! We go to Maine several times a year and we will work our schedule to be able to have a meal at North Plank Road Tavern! A big thanks to the owner for his commitment to excellent food!

  Perfect for us place!!! Charming and unique. A Newburgh gem with a long history. Excellent food and very accommodating owners! Im a diabetic and I asked if they had diet tonic for a gin and tonic. Owner went to the market abd picked up diet tonic for me! 🥰

  Love this restaurant, established in 1801 with a lot of history. Once a speak easy, display of old jugs found on site. Intricately carved wood bar from the 1700's. I was there for a special event dinner. Food and service was amazing.

  Historic location with wonderful food and service. The menu could use an update, the same dishes have been on it for years, but the chef specials never disappoint, and the braised short ribs are comfort food for sure.

  A small group celebrated our friend getting married here and they went above and beyond to ensure all had a good experience, especially the bride! The food was rich and delicious, the drinks great. Service even better. Will be back!!
