Love this practice. Everyone is friendly, kind, and caring. The office is very comfortable and well-appointed. Always running on time. Dr. Bhagat gives you your results before you leave, no waiting and wondering. Don't hesitate to come here, they are the best I have ever used - and I've been to a lot of different radiology places over the years. Now I won't go anywhere else.
To all who would like a more personal approach, this is the place to be!! My first contact with North Central was with the Brenda, (the office manager),who was very friendly and efficient. I actually thought to myself how pleasant she was on the phone and this displayed excellent customer service! When I arrived, I was taken on time. (which is not the norm in my experience.)The ultrasound technician was kind, courteous and professional. The technician room and bathroom had a personal feel to it with the cleanliness of an operating room! Once the ultrasound was finished, Dr. Bhagat, who is the radiologist on site, came in to explain what he saw on the ultrasound results. I have never experienced this before. Normally, once an x-ray or utlra-sound is done, nothing is said to the patient and results go straight to the doctor with no explanation! Love, love, love this office. 5 star rating all of the way around!
As a self-pay patient (i.e., no insurance), I'm always looking for ways to cut down on the costs of my elective (non-emergency) medical care. I needed to get an ultrasound done, so I called around to different radiology practices to find the best price. North Central Imaging had, by far, the most reasonable rates and those most equivalent to what I paid for the same procedure when I still had insurance.
The office is quite small and (from what I could tell) independent from any hospital system (a rarity these days). As such, you get the kind, personalized service that comes with such an office, but also the lack of efficiency and "perks" that you would normally find in a hospital-owned center (e.g., no free wifi, no electronic reporting of results to the patient).
Overall, however, I was incredibly pleased with the service I received. Everyone from the receptionist to the ultrasound tech to Dr. Bhagat himself were wonderful. In fact, this was the first time I EVER met my radiologist -- after the tech finished my ultrasound, she went to Dr. Bhagat to show him the preliminary images so that he could take additional images, as necessary. He indeed came into the room and took a few more images himself and even gave me his preliminary readings on the spot. I was very impressed with this, as I've never before met or even spoken to the radiologists who've analyzed my results.
Needless to say, if circumstances warrant, I'll be coming back to this practice.
Always amazing care! I have been going here for years for my mammograms. Dr. once noticed a suspicious spot, and ever since, I get an ultrasound for a clearer image. Everyone is super nice. Highly recommended!
I have been going here for years. The bad reviews are not for quality of care; they are for financial distress. Dr. Bhagat is spot on with diagnosis and advanced technology. Within 5 minutes you sit with the doctor to goover your results! Very glad Dr. Bhagat is my radiologist!
