  NJSWIM has been a huge part of our family since we moved to Chatham. The team is beyond patient and caring. They really helped both of our kids (2 and 4) feel comfortable and safe in the water. Our kids now understand the importance of water safety and what to do if they fall into a pool. We have been going to NJSWIM since 2021 and we will not be going elsewhere for lessons. The facility is smaller and doesn’t echo like most swim schools; it’s nice for those especially nervous to start and amazing for kids focusing on skills.

  My son tried swimming classes at The Connection and YMCA summit before here and I can say with confidence that I have seen the most progress here! The student:teacher ratio is good, allows the students more time to practice; teachers get to know the their students better and pay detailed attentions to each students need.

  The water babies swim program is top notch! Our 17 month old is now two months into the program and is making such great progress! He’s becoming more at ease in the water and all of the activities are clearly the building blocks to learning how to swim! While he does shed tears at times, he really is getting more comfortable with the movements and being in the water. The teachers are super friendly and knowledgeable. The communication from the program’s location manager is excellent. We are always notified of changes via email in a timely fashion. And, the website is great to track individual information.

  Coach Garrett is the BEST!!! He is so patient and funny. My 6-years-old has so much fun learning swimming and has much more motivation to go to swimming class because of him! Coach Cynthia and Coach Kerry are super nice too! They noticed my son's progress and share it with me even though they are not his coaches! They are so positive and I really appreciate it!
