A solemn memorial for our fallen heroes. As a grandson of a Navy man, I felt in touch with him and understand the sacrifices his generation made for our country. It’s an engaging tribute to all armed forces and the families who lost their loved ones to the many wars America has been through. There’s also a Vietnam war museum there but we did not get the chance to see it. Getting to the place is tricky because of the location - it is on the Garden State Arts Center campus, and the traffic lights were reversed for exiting the center, facing the opposite direction lights on our way in and under the parkway. Just go slow and cautiously, and don’t go when there’s a concert.
