  Came to New Church Live 6 Years Ago after having attended the Catholic Church much of my life. Nothing bad to say about the Catholic Church, though came to this Church after having a bad experience with a priest who couldn't remember my or my wife's name (he wasn't old) and didn't ask me why I was attending every morning for nearly a year. I had lost my Dad and job during that time. A friend introduced me to New Church Live, and I started attending. I have missed less than a handful in 6 years. It didn't take me long to get used to the music, which has INCREDIBLY talented performers, and was completely different than I was used to in prior experience. I have learned more about the Bible in 6 years than in more than 50 years prior. Chuck has stories from the Bible every week, and makes them real and relevant to my daily life. New Church Live is called "A Monday Morning Church," for this reason. If I want a more formal experience, meaning actual pews, I go to the beautiful Cathedral to pray and reflect any time I want, as it reminds me of my Catholic Church experience. I never miss The NCL Service though. The Church continually brings in great speakers from around the world, from holocaust survivors, to suicide survivors to a woman who lost her child in a school shooting, to a recent speaker who spoke about grief. She was hysterical though had great insight on grief and wish I had her insights when I lost my Sister over 20 years ago. I could have provided stronger guidance to my 3 nieces who lost their Mom, then their Dad four years later, both suddenly. These speakers all have had different experiences, and the majority speak about their renewed faith having survived terrible experiences. I would recommend attending more than one service, perhaps giving it a try over the course of 2 to 3 weeks and see if it works for you. My Christian Faith has never been stronger in my life because of this Church, it's emphasis on service, community, love, kindness, gratitude, forgiveness, and usefulness and compassion in action. Love NCL!

  I have been attending NewChurch LIVE for about nine years. In truth, I wasn't in search of finding a new way of church. NewChurch LIVE's vision of being caring, serving and relevant has opened my heart even further to see that, at the very core we are all one and that Divine Love is working to bring us exactly we need. I wasn't sure I was comfortable with humor being mixed with grief... could that be possible? I was humbly surprised to find that Nora's approach and 7 steps actually helped me to see parts of my past grief in a new light. Thank you Nora and NewChurch LIVE!

  NewChurch Live has both a remarkable community and a revolutionary theology. The convergence of these makes for one special experience. I would highly recommend visiting, especially as there is a culture of acceptance and fellowship for any and all.
