One negative would be that you have to pay for parking in order to park near Newburgh Mercantile.This was annoying because I was shopping at a local merchant in Newburgh to support a local business who has great products and picture framing service. It would seem that the City of Newburgh is not pro small business in my opinion.

(July 4, 2020, 8:27 am)The most beautiful and well-curated gift shop in the area. And the custom framing they offer is exceptional. Eric has been framing most of his life, and he approaches every project with an artist's eye. Jacqui is the store owner and her smile alone is worth the trip! I adore her, and many favorite items in my home have come from her store. Do yourself a favor and make a trip here, you won't regret it.

(March 26, 2018, 11:11 pm)Lovely little gift shop with lots of interesting finds, many from local Hudson Valley artists. The owners are super friendly and helpful. They are terrific advocates and champions for Newburgh. Oh, and they have a full frame shop in the back half of the store.

(March 9, 2018, 5:08 pm)Jacqui and Eric are wonderful shop owners. They curate a fine selection of gift items, many of which are locally made. I've only had Eric frame one item for me, but he made good artistic suggestions and was considerate of both my budget and the preservation of my cherished keepsake. I was very pleased with his work. I will definitely return to have artwork framed and to find presents for friends and family who appreciate quality prints, stationary, body products, candles, coffee, tea etc.
