  My father could never be taken care of as well as he has been at the NYS Veterans Home in Oxford, NY in any other setting.
  All of the staff is caring, considerate, and engaged with the family and the residents.
  Cannot say enough positive things about this home for Vets.

  My father was a resident here for 3 1/2 years. His care was outstanding. As a matter of fact he flourish in the atmosphere provided here. His mental and physical health improved under their professional care.

  My WWII Vet dad lived there several years before he passed at 93 years old. He received excellent care. The staff there right down to the cleaning staff care about the residents. The place is clean and bright. Food is good. They took him into Norwich to shop. They often had activities or visitors come in and play music or set up displays of one thing or another. I can't say enough about them. It's a shame all you hear about the VA is negative news. Kudos to the Oxford VA.
