(June 14, 2021, 10:43 pm)Great job improving the trail where it is often wet which leads some to walk off trail eventually widening the trail.
This very small preserve is comprised of a very thin strip of land between houses and the Greater Chester Valley Sports Association soccer complex. It then widens into to fatter sections. Mainly grasslands in the northeastern section and woods in the southeastern section.
Be sure to park at the lot near Applebrook Drive because if you park in the GCVSA parking lot you could get locked in when they lock the gate.
If you are near this preserve it is definately worth a quick hike with about 6 miles of trails in total. This preserve does not get overrun with people like Stoud, ChesLen, Binkey Lee and Bryn Coed. -

(December 29, 2020, 4:24 pm)Don't be turned away if you're met with a closed gate at the parking lot. Read sign directong to secondary lot, as we had to. Serpentine Preserve section (yellow blazes) is beautiful, with majestic, huge pines creating an enchanted forest atmosphere. The rest is nice too, but less remarkable.
