  At first, I resisted going to this restaurant. But at the insistence of a friend, we decided to give it a try. I felt that it was too expensive and I'm not into small plates. Boy, was I wrong. If you don't order small plates, the portions are very satisfying. It is on the pricey side, but it is a wonderful experience. I will definitely go back again. In fact, I can't wait to go back again. The atmosphere is fantastic and the wait staff are very friendly and helpful. I loved it and will definitely be a repeat customer. Great job, Native!!!

  This is a very nice spot with excellent food! I would recommend the charred caesar, meatballs, the ricotta cavatelli with bison bolognese, and the short rib mac and cheese. Our table also order the spaghetti carbonara, but I had personally like the bolognese much more. Do yourself a favor and visit Native if you haven't or are passing through!

  I had been wanting to try Native in Honesdale for ages, but with my busy schedule during previous visits to the area, I never had the chance. Finally, during my fall trip, I was able to make a reservation and see what all the fuss was about. And let me tell you, Native exceeded my already high expectations.⁠

  The menu changes frequently to reflect what's in season and what's available from local farms and purveyors. Everything is prepared with care and attention to detail, resulting in dishes that are both delicious and visually stunning. ⁠

  The atmosphere at Native is also lovely, with a cozy yet elegant vibe that makes it the perfect spot for a special occasion or just a night out with friends. And the service is top-notch, too, with friendly and knowledgeable staff who are happy to answer any questions and make recommendations.⁠

  I had an incredible time there during my dinner, and I will absolutely make it a point to get there for dinner again sometime soon!⁠

  The bruschetta is AMAZING it tastes so good! Also had the crab on toast, and the crab didn't taste overly powering on the seafood flavor, it was really well balanced! Definitely recommend both of those! The green goddess salad was HUGE, great portion, and the Mac n cheese was soooo good, just a heads up though, if you order the "bigger" portion of the Mac n cheese it's giant 🤣 I should have only ordered the smaller one, it's like 4x the size! The cheesecake was really tasty, you can tell they use ricotta in it, and it's really yum 😋 Definitely would recommend this place! Plus I loved all the plants in the building, especially the huge Monstera you see when you first walk in! Gorgeous 😍🌱

  Absolutely AWESOME! Went for the first time with a friend last weekend. Sarah was an excellent server and made great recommendations. My friend and I tried the Cesar Salad (so unique!), the beet salad, the tuna tartare, the gnocchi, and the ribeye. Everything was excellent. We each tried a specialty cocktail as well. Seriously one of the best restaurants in the area. Looking forward to returning in 2023!
