I could not be more pleased with my experience at Motive and with the whole team there. Before Motive I was experiencing major neck pain, poor posture, and tension headaches, all of which I could not get under control no matter what I was trying. My time at Motive and specifically working with Lauren significantly improved all of these areas! It isn’t an exaggeration to say that finding Motive and putting in the hard work over time was life changing. I wholeheartedly recommend Lauren and the whole team at Motive.
When I arrived at Motive Sports and Physical Therapy for the first time, I was in a fragile state. My body felt broken, as did my spirit, for I suffered from continual flare ups which would cause me to have to shut down any and all physical activities. This is a problem because I have bills to pay and a physical job that is becoming impatient with occurrences which require me to miss time. My situation is dire. Find a way to get back to work or lose the best job of my career.
A friend of mine recommended that I go to Motive once he learned of my predicament. Lauren, John and the staff were kind, friendly and considerate in helping me rebuild my body and back again. It took a great deal of time and effort both in Therapy and at home to learn and relearn how to do things in my current state. Today I am preparing to go back to work again as the doctors are granting me clearance to return. I do not know how well my body will hold up to the conditions that will be placed upon it in the future, but I do know that the structured work outs which we performed at Motive have restored my confidence and will give me the best chance to succeed due to the innovative ways we attempted to simulate my work environment and duties. Regardless of how the rest plays out I am grateful of what I learned from them and have intentions on keeping up the training to stay in the best shape I can to help for the future which is a lot brighter now than when I first arrived. As I age I cannot change my condition, or stop flare ups from happening but by keeping up with the training and conditioning learned there I can help to minimize the occurrences and downtime required by keeping the surrounding core strong. Thanks again!!!
I severely sprained my ankle last year and chose Motive Sports & Physical Therapy for my place to do PT (first time doing PT for me by the way). Part of the reason I chose Motive was it is close to my home but also because of a Google review that said this was the first PT place they went to that made them sweat. That might not sound appealing to everyone, but I’m a very active person and I had a lot of activities I wanted to get back to as soon as possible so that was music to my ears. And the reviewer was right, but what is great is that it doesn’t mean they are overly aggressive at your treatment either. When I started out working with John right after my injury he had me do very little, and I now see that was all I should be doing because my body was in the early stages of healing. As I healed and got stronger John and Mark both definitely did get me moving and made me sweat, John especially as he was my primary PT for my treatment. Most importantly they got me to trust my ankle again, which took quite some time. And I learned so much talking to them as we did our sessions. I definitely trusted their knowledge and experience and even when I wanted to do more because I was feeling better I listened to them if they said I shouldn’t (though thing for me to do 😊). I was back to my activities later in the year and back to full speed ahead this year and the ankle is feeling great. I very strongly recommend Motive to anyone seeking physical therapy. I saw them treating people of all skill abilities and ages with great professionalism and compassion.
Motive was recommended to us last year when my son wanted to get in better shape. We wanted trainers who could teach him proper technique to avoid injury. Who better to train him than a physical therapist and his highly knowledgeable fitness trainer brother! Our son has seen tremendous gains through weight lifting and agility work at Motive. Mark is always ready and willing to assess any injuries he (and our family) suffer, and is so thorough before formulating a rehab plan. Mark and Paul are both so generous with their time and always prioritize community outreach. We are happy to recommend Motive and give them a 5 star review!
Motive Sport & Physical Therapy is the best place for recovering athletes! I personally have been to multiple physical therapy offices and they do not compare to the great treatment your receive at Motive Sport. All of the physical therapists are amazing! I worked with Mark and he was the best! He helped me recover from my quad strain and helped get me stronger from my past 2 ACL reconstructions. Mark is so personable and really cares about the outcome of his patients. I 100% recommend Motive Sports!!!
