Great experience with the entire Motion PT staff. Very thorough evaluation, attentive care, and constant progress monitoring. Shoulder is getting better with each visit!
I recently broke my collarbone and went to MOTION sports medicine to get me back to where I was. These guys did a phenomenal job in providing exercises to get my muscles to be as strong as they were pre injury, having state of the art techniques for stretching and loosening muscles, they keep everything squeaky clean at all times. The staff here is amazing and filled with professionals who love to do their job and go above and beyond to help people through the recovery process. I highly recommend that you check out this place especially for athletes who need to get back into competition post injury.
Wonderful caring group of professionals. They are very helpful and most of all caring. From the women at the front desk to the therapist and the aids. l would highly recommend this group to everyone.
The staff is truly amazing! They work well as a team and are very knowledgeable. I feel they have my best interest at heart and want to make sure I get better. I feel very comfortable and taken care of the moment I enter. Would not consider any other therapy place!
I don't know where to begin about how much I love this place. I'm so impressed with the level of care the ENTIRE team provides. I've been receiving treatment for 8 months for layers of issues and multiple accidents and injuries over the last several years that were causing low and upper back and neck pain and intense headaches/migraines - I haven't been a surgery rehab or sports injury patient - I didn't know the cause of my pain and the pain wasn't persistent or even in the same place every time. I was beginning to think I'd never feel better or be able to exercise again because even I was confused about the pain's origin and pattern. How does pain move? My doctors were quick to give me pain medication, but I wanted to understand what my body was doing. I wanted to be able to exercise without a daily regimen of pain pills. The team at Bardonia PT, now MOTION Sports Medicine, has taken the time to evaluate me in what feels like an individualized way. Not only do I feel taken care of at each appointment, I feel better equipped and educated to take care of my physical health on my own when the day comes when I don't need a physical therapist anymore. I feel there have been multiple breakthroughs in my treatment - things that would be noticed during my appointment assessment that would cause them to work in an area that I didn't have pain. There's been several instances where I come in in pain and have a headache, they assess me, start working on a spot that wasn't hurting, and by the end of the session, my initial pain and headache are gone. And when I ask what they did, how they knew where to focus on, and why what they had me do worked, I always get an explanation I understand. It's been the coolest experience. The staff is always friendly, quick to ask questions about comfort level, and quick to help me perform the exercises correctly to get the most benefit from them. Even the staff at the front desk is friendly, attentive, and helpful in scheduling and rescheduling appointments. I've never felt uncomfortable or neglected and that's with an estimated 50+ visits 🤯. Those persistent results can only be a result of genuine care. Every aide, assistant, and therapist is kind, knowledgeable, and friendly. I can't thank Michaela, Shannon, Katherine, Chris, Vinnie and everyone else at MOTION enough.
I think it's also worth mentioning that with all the time I've spent there, I've observed how they treat all their patients, young and old, congenial and less congenial - it's an open floor plan facility, so it's hard not to notice. It's always professional, courteous, patient, respectful and a downright-kind environment. It truly has been a pleasant experience.
