Honest work and reasonable prices
The best transmission place ever! 6 months ago, Aamco told me I needed a new transmission but he could replace mine with a rebuilt one for only $3,000-4,000. I went to this Morris County Transmission and he said I just needed a flush. It's cost me less than $150 and has been work like new ever since. I brought my other car in, he told me he could charge me a bunch to bring it up to speed but I was better off getting rid of it and getting a new car.
I sent my elder female, Indian neighbor to him. I would imagine she would be an easy mark to get ripped off anywhere else. She told me the dealership want $400 just to look at it and clear the engine light. $500 later, they said she needs at least $3,000 work done on it. She went to MCT and saw Dennis, he gave her his car for the day, took hers, looked at it, ran diagnostics and then told her he could fix everything they found plus another faily big ticket item for about $2,300 but suggested not to do it because he thought the car wasn't worth it. She chose to get rid of it and he didn't even charge her for any of his time or diagnostics.
Where can you find an honest mechanic these days... I was and remain lucky to know Dennis and his brother Dave. They'll fix what others can't, but will advise you when it's not worth it. They won't rip you off and their work is high quality. Putting it plainly, if you don't go to these guys, then you're fool foolish.
