He did everything to make sure we knew what to do once we got on the water and that we felt safe and most importantly had a great time. It was a beautiful day on a great boat. We can’t wait to come back!

(August 25, 2023, 12:22 pm)I highly recommend Moriches Island Sailing and Captain Luke Hickling! We recently did the two hour Motorboat Bay Tour and loved it. Captain Luke is extremely engaging, focused on safety, and his boat is immaculate. Looking forward to our next cruise!

(June 21, 2023, 4:02 pm)I can’t say enough good things about Luke and Moriches Island Sailing. I started taking sailing lessons with Luke late last summer as a complete beginner as I never sailed before. During the lessons I was able to learn about all the terminology, appropriate weather conditions, winds, how to rig and set up the boat etc, while doing a lot of hands-on sailing. The lessons started out easy and got progressively more challenging as my abilities developed, always with the objective of being able to sail on my own. Now, I recently bought a small sail boat and go out alone. Still a lot for me to learn and so, after a few sessions on my own, I go back for a lesson for some feedback and advise on how to improve. I’m excited to continue to develop my sailing abilities and I’m happy to have Moriches Island Sailing there for me. Highly recommended!

(June 21, 2021, 1:07 pm)This was hands down one of the best experiences Ive had with my 4 year old son. We did the beach & Sail package and Luke sailed us across the bay to "swan Island." I had never heard of the island and it was absolute PERFECTION. The water was warm and we could swim in the bay and my son spent HOURS finding sea creatures. Luke was a VERY knowledgeable and safe sailor, the boat was relaxing and not scary at all for the little ones. He was very chill, but a great tour guide , giving enough info but also letting us discover on our own. Scheduling was also so easy that I already scheduled our next trip.
