  The Moonshadow Inn is a great find! The owner is friendly, helpful, and a really great guy. He is very knowledgeable about the area and its history. The Inn is beautiful, as is the bar restaurant. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, charming, and far more than I expected. The rates are reasonable and better than others in the area. We're looking forward to coming back.

  My wife and I stumbled upon this awesome place when we saw the banner in front. Phil was an amazing host, bartender and chef. We stayed 1 night and cant wait to go back. It was an experience we cant quite explain. Maybe all the history from days gone bye. Would give it 6 stars if I could. You just have to go to feel the energy. And the antiques.... Beautifully appointed

  Haven’t stayed at the Inn yet, but we went to the bar downstairs after my cousin’s wedding. Beautiful decor; you can tell that a lot of work went into creating a welcoming and fun space. The owner was very accommodating of our group, and the bartender Kim was a rockstar. I’d give it a 6/5 stars if I could. Amazing time.

  This is a hidden gem. We spent one night on our way home and it was a great experience. Moonshadow Inn is a 200 year old Inn formerly called The Beach Lake Hotel. The owner is an antique collector who has restored the building and furnished it with his collection of furniture and art. Even the room key that he handed me is the original key from 200 years ago. We had a beautiful room with a very comfortable bed, the bathroom was small but clean and all that we needed.
  Do yourself a favor and get there in time to have a drink and dinner in the restaurant. You'll hopefully get a chance to talk to the owner and maybe a few locals.
  If I'm ever back in the area I will definitely return.
