  Just refilled my 20lb propane tank for $16.95! Family owned and operated!! Owner was fantastic! I bought the tank for refill from the Rhino exchange at my local grocery store few months ago…tanks are so beat up and I was annoyed because I felt like they ran out so fast! I learned from Modern Propane that exchange tanks are filled anywhere from 12-15 lbs instead of full 20! Service tech at Modern Propane showed me on the Rhino label that fill is max 15lbs!! I was paying $25 for less propane! I’m so happy I found you guys!!! I just bought an outdoor propane heater and need a new tank!! I will def be buying from you!! Brand new tank from them is $40 plus $16.95 refill!! Also carried the tank out and put in my car!! GREAT SERVICE!! 5+Stars!! Thank you!! Thank you!!

  Awesome spot to fill tanks or get anything related to propane. We’ve traveled full time as RV’ers for a year in the US and Canada and fill a propane tank every week or two. This was the best experience I’ve ever had. Fast, professional, safe, good parking and a great price.

  I left a positive review five years ago, and yesterday I had the same great experience with Modern Propane on Fischer Boulevard in Toms River. The staff is very helpful and very pleasant, answered all of my questions and helped carry my propane tank to the car. We purchased a Weber grill from Modern Propane recently and were very pleased with the service offered by this business. It’s nice to be able to rely on a local business! 👍

  I had a very pleasant experience dealing with Brent who was in the store at the time. Not only did he have the part I needed, it was in front of me within 15 seconds. I asked him if he could help me disassemble the parts that were attached to the broken piece, and could he assemble them to the new part that I just bought. He said no problem and took care of everything for me. This is the type of place I love to do business with. I will return here if I ever need anything else.
