  Matt has been acting as my bass instructor for over 15 months now. Before starting lessons with Matt I had been playing for just over 12 months. After maybe 2 lessons with Matt I had learned more in 2 hours than I did 1 year of playing on my own.
  
  Matt is extremely flexible and impossible to catch off guard. He has never steered me wrong and has always been everything I could ever want in a teacher. He is relatable, humble, skilled and focused. I have never walked out of a lesson feeling as if my time was wasted, or I didn't get what I want. I look forward to my lessons every week and always leave with an uplifted mood. Matt is an endless fountain of musical knowledge; and he really knows how to present his knowledge to his students. I really cannot emphasize enough how great of a teacher he is.
  
  If you are reading this and unsure if lessons are right for you, or have had a bad experience in the past; please give Matt a chance. I promise you, you will not be disappointed.

  Matt is a great music teacher. He approaches each lesson individually and teaches in a comprehensive manner. I’ve been playing for 20 years and still found his knowledge, education and teaching experience extremely beneficial. If you’re a new musician or even experienced and looking to get passed a plateau in your journey. Matt is your guy! You will definitely get an excellent base as a beginner and get over your obstacles as an intermediate to advanced player. I highly recommend.

  If you are lucky enough to have Matt as your teacher, then consider yourself extremely fortunate.
  Matt is patient, compassionate, trusting & most importantly he is an excellent teacher in every aspect.
  He never once steered my teenager the wrong way. Matt didnt just hear what she had to say, he listened.
  My kid started with acoustic lessons & graduated to the electric guitar after a few months.
  They say that 90% of the people that start guitar lessons gradually give up & a sliver of 10% are confident enough to continue.
  We’re so grateful for finding Matt & that he allowed us into his home, worked with our schedule & gave his time to my Michaela.
  Matt is an excellent, trusting, patient & empathetic teacher.
  Actions speak louder than words-give him a call & thank me afterwards!!! 🎸

  Matt is truly a exceptional musician and intuitive teacher. He customizes his instruction based on his student's ability and progress. His lessons are challenging enough to motivate students to perfect their skills, but fun enough to instill confidence and make them look forward to the next lesson.
  My son has learned and progressed so much while working with Matt, and will miss him now that he is leaving for college.

  My son has been training with Matt for the past couple years. Matt has been an exciting, informative, fun, and enthusiastic instructor. I’ve personally watched him instruct and also saw one of Matt’s live band performances in town. A very genuine and talented guy and an absolute must call if you are interested in lessons on how to play the bass or guitar.
