I would like to take a moment to thank Rayna in the Freehold location. Two years ago this month our sister was transferred to the Freehold Millennium. From the day she arrived there, we were informed of all we needed to know about her stay there, and still are. Rayna and her staff are kind, caring and very patient. We know our sister is well cared for there. We love that they have cute names for our sister. It makes her smile when they come in and smile at her and call her by their nick name for her. It is so comforting to have people around your love ones who love their jobs and treat them with kindness and love. If we go to visit or place a phone call there we are always greeted with sweetness and kindness. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!!

You don't often see someone give 5 stars at a nursing facility/memory care facility. However if you take time to read my review you will be reassured that this is where your loved one needs to be. My mom has progressive dementia. She was placed 6 months ago in a highly rated Memomory care facility in North Carolina. If I could give 1 star to the facility I would. You have to understand dementia in order to claim you are a memory care facility. They do not nor did they hire staff that understood dementia. Mom was labeled as combatative while there. She yells and screams and hits at times if you try and shower her, change her, take her to the bathroom, give her her meds or make her do something she does not want to do. All things she resisted that are very important to her health and well being. So showers were not given, teeth not brushed, meds not given ,did not eat and walked and walked from night to day and lost 40 lbs in 4 months. I called daily and I mean daily . I am in NJ and had a ring camera in her room and saw how she was being treated and lodged at least 200 complaints. They did not care. It was always yes yes yes and nothing done. We decided enough was enough and not getting better. We brought her to New Jersey where my sister and I live and I found Millenium Memory Care of Freehold & Matawan due to the combative issue. Made an appointment at Freehold first and that was it. No more appointments we found her home! Rayna is in charge of the facility and we met with her and we were highly impressed. She explained how mom would be taken care of and we just thought we heard this before but were hopeful. Everything Rayna promised and more in the past 2 months has happened. Mom no longer walks from morning to night. She eats and has gained at least 7 lbs. She has access to a Merry Walker which we knew nothing about and now she is safe walking, which she does not much of because she gets her medications properly. The staff takes time and tricks to get her to take. They bathe her and change her everyday. They don't even label her as combative because what mom does is typical of dementia patients. All we wanted was to find a caring faciltiy who saw the residences as human beings not just patients. Home cooked meals everyday. Beautiful sunroom and livingroom area with nice backyard and rocking chairs on a very long porch. The staff is very friendly and know how to deal with dementia patients and when yelled at, hit at etc it does not phase them they keep doing their job slowly and patiently. Rayna runs a tight ship and a smooth ship. Communicates with us quickly and informs us on anything we need to know. We went through 4 months of hell and thought every place would be like mom's first placement because we were told all places alike. I am not blowing smoke and if anyone wants to contact me they can. My sister and I now have a heavy weight lifted off of us knowing our Mom (which I wish we could have at home but can't) is content, happy from what we can tell and well cared for. Rayna, Helen her entire staff can not be thanked enough and John the Director OMG! the nicest man I have come across in a long time. A shout out to the activity aid as well. She is very engaged with the residences. Sorry I went on and on but if you have a dementia loved one you will see in my words the exact worries you have or same incidents you have gone through and want you to know there is a safe, loving place out there for them. Thank you Millenium Memory Care. Rayna you "Rock"
Rayna and staff have been incredible for our mom! After our mother was in another facility in PA and having terrible behavioral issues, we moved her to Freehold for respite and what a difference! Mom even told us how she liked it better "because the people were nicer!" Once mom told us that she wanted to stay and saw how well she was cared for, we immediately moved her there full time! The change in behavior and the small resident size are a perfect fit and we know that our mom is well cared for!
Rayna White at Millennium in Freehold has made such a difference in my loved one with dementia. She was able to expertly assess his behaviors and needs to create an effective care plan. My loved one was a 2 other memory care communities but was not able to stay due to behavior issues that they could or would not manage. Rayna is able to manage behaviors that other places may not be able to. So far my family is pleased. No place is perfect but you have to find the place that is perfect or best for your loved one
We moved my mom into Millennium in Freehold in August of this year after she had several falls resulting in visits to the ER in her last placement. Mom needed a greater level of care. Rayna and the warm, caring and accommodating staff welcomed Mom in and have provided a safe and intimate home like environment. Mom is well cared for enjoying home cooked meals and lots of personal attention. We visit often and are so grateful to Rayna and her team for keeping my mom safe and for taking such special care of her.
