(June 1, 2023, 10:22 am)I cannot imagine a better place to take my beloved pets than the Middlebury Animal Hospital. I took my first dog, ET, there in 1987 and have never gone anywhere else. Three dogs later and I’m still going there for the best care anywhere.
Dr.Loeven and his staff could not be more empathic, more kind and more loving of all animals—and the people who own them. The care is extraordinary and it is the best place to be when my dog—and I—are not feeling well. (December 17, 2021, 5:58 pm)The staff is one of a kind, exceptional and personable which is hard to find these days. Great response time, answers every question with advice, very rarely do I need to bring my fur baby in for a checkup if a situation occurs. Diamond loves her Dr. Loeven!

(October 14, 2019, 5:55 am)Middlebury Animal Hospital has a wonderful caring and professional vet practice. My dog doesn’t even put on his brakes when entering the front door to this clinic. The staff is welcoming and friendly and I cannot say enough about how wonderful the veterinarians are. Dr Loeven is a wonderful surgeon and gives the best educated care. Even chatting with fellow animal owners in the waiting room is rewarding. I’m so grateful I found this veterinarian who is surprisingly easy to get to just off I-84 and past Rte 9.
