(May 4, 2017, 11:18 am)As an adult student brand new to drumming, I was worried going into taking my first lesson. Mike immediately made me feel comfortable right away and was a great teacher. He has a great way of explaining things and not making it sound complicated. I would and have recommended Mike as a drum teacher to all ages and levels for anyone that wants to learn.

Mike not only has great skill and expertise in drumming and music, but he also works with my son on building confidence and believing in himself. I feel like they have a great connection and Mike is really helping him out in more ways than just drumming. Really.

(March 27, 2017, 7:35 pm)Mike worked with my son who was eleven at the time he started drums. Mike's knowledge of music and patience with young kids showed by how quickly he learned the basics. Mike was affordable and flexible with our crazy schedule too. I would recommend Mike to anyone interested in learning drums at any level. The best part about Mike is that you are supporting a West Chester native and small business owner!

(March 24, 2017, 6:11 pm)My 14 year old son has been taking weekly drum lessons with Mike at Evolved Studios in West Chester for 5 months. My son was a total beginner and has come a long way thanks to Mike's great style of teaching. He's patient, knowledgeable, skilled and connects with the kids. Not only is he a great teacher at a reasonable price, Mike is very responsive whenever I have a question. I highly recommend Mike Merwin for drum lessons. You won't be disappointed!
