I went to Rabbi Michaels' office last night to purchase tefilin for my son, who is about to become a bar mitzvah. My experience was a rare pleasure!
Rabbi Michaels is extremely knowledgeable in all areas of his expertise, both halachically (Torah law) and in the art of dealing with individuals as customers. The merchandise he offers is top of the line. He is extremely patient, conscientious, very perceptive and helpful. He understood my needs and monetary limitations without my needing to tell him, and focused on saving me money rather than getting as much as he could out of me, all the while encouraging and directing me towards the highest quality I could comfortably afford.
When making such a major and significant purchase as tefilin, in order to buy confidently, one needs a person that is knowledgeable, conscientious, and one that he can TRUST to purchase from, and this Rabbi Michaels definitely is all of the above!
Mehadrin min hamehadrin!!! I couldn't be happier, and will bln be back for all of my bar mitzvah boys' tefilin purchases! Thank you Rabbi Michaels! -
