  Capt Stu was exceptional for our bachelor party— fantastic communication from the start, able to flex itinerary, reasonable pricing, and amazing boat. Great tour on the coastline and bay swim. Highly recommend!

  What an amazing experience. Captain Stu was so thoughtful and accommodating in helping us scatter my mother-in-law’s ashes. He went out of his way to make my two children feel comfortable. Can’t recommend him enough!

  I sincerely can’t give enough high praises for Capt. Stu and his boat the Metamorphosis.
  My father and I chartered the Metamorphosis for two hours on Saturday, July 15, 2023 in order to appropriately scatter my mother’s ashes at sea.
  From the first phone call Capt. Stu is a courteous, sensitive, professional , clearly answering our questions and flawlessly accommodating our individual needs. A real gentleman.
  His boat, the Metamorphosis, is spotlessly, clean, beautiful, comfortable and with a great sound system for any music you wish to use.
  I hope under better circumstances we will be able to charter the metamorphosis again!

  Took a Sunset cruise with Capt Stu and Calypso (his dog) recently. Before setting sail Capt Stu gave a safety briefing and showed you where everything was on board. I requested Calypso join on the trip for some added fun. Capt Stu made the trip extremely enjoyable with music and conversation. We took a ride to see the skyline and then spent the majority of our trip in calmer waters on the bay. We loved being able to enjoy the evening and see the sunset over the bay. Definitely recommend Capt Stu if you are looking for a memorable boat trip.

  I was searching for a service to scatter my Mom’s ashes in the sea in accordance our Hindu ritual and I found Metamorphosis service near NJ/NY area.
  From my first call to Metamorphosis Captain Stewart Rosen (Stu) was amazing. He was kind and full of empathy. He coordinated the date and time with me diligently along with updating me how the weather was looking. I told him that I was going to make a biodegradable wreath by myself with the flowers that my Mom liked and requested him if he can get a bouquet with similar flowers. He didn’t disappoint.
  He made me feel like he was a family member rather than it was his boat I chartered. He also honored me by reciting couple of psalms that I was too emotional to recite by myself. He also played a Tagore song that was my Mom’s favorite along with playing our religious sacred mantra.
  
  I’ll be forever grateful to Stu.
