  I have been a member at Messiah for almost ten years after a very bad experience at another church in a different church body. I feel so blessed that the Holy Spirit led me here. Our church teaches the truth of the Bible. God's Word is our guide. I love that we are taught Law AND Gospel, the forgiveness that Jesus Christ secured for us on the cross. Our Pastor is a man of integrity and strength. He faithfully preaches God's Word, no matter how difficult it may be for us to hear it. He never shies away from the difficult questions and cares about his sheep in this life AND our souls in the next. This fellowship of believers is truly a great blessing in my life.

  I attend this church because the true Word is taught here. Worshipping here is a true blessing!
  Our Pastor is a man of the faith. He is a man of integrity, conviction, humility, honor and care. He is a good Shepard to his flock. I feel blessed to be a member of the flock at Messiah Lutheran Church.

  This is a friendly congregation with a pastor who faithfully shares the truths of scripture, both the Law (that we are ALL sinners who cannot save ourselves) and the Gospel (the good news that Jesus died for our sins and opened the door to Heaven for all believers).

  This is a church which preaches the Word of God without subtracting from it or adding to it. There is love and support here from caring members and a dedicated, caring pastor.
  
  We are not perfect, as no one here on earth is perfect. Only our Savior was perfect and therefore able to die for our sins in our place. Being faced with our own sins often makes us feel uncomfortable -- but it should. Unrepentant sin leads us to Hell.
  
  It is actually an act of caring to talk privately to people persisting in unrepentant sin. In an earthly sense, it would be easier to act like anything we do is okay and go with the status quo, but our church has in mind the ultimate judgement - which determines whether we go to Heaven or Hell.
