  I bought my wedding dress at Mervat's Bridal and had it altered with her. She is fantastic! I highly, highly recommend her shop. I had some alterations done to the dress (adding shoulder straps), and it was so nice to be able to have the alterations done in-house. Everything was finished ahead of schedule and the alterations were exactly what I had in mind. Thank you Mervat for making wedding dress shopping stress-free!!

  Dress shopping at Mervat’s Bridal was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Mervat was absolutely wonderful and knowledgeable! She helped me narrow down my options from a huge selection of beautiful gowns. She took the time to listen to what I was looking for and matched my exact vision for my special occasion. Appointments are very flexible. Alterations were perfect! I definitely would recommend taking the time to stop at this store to browse gowns for special occasions.

  Was recommended to Mervat's bridal for alterations on my wedding dress that I purchased at Castle Couture off the runway. She is AMAZING! from cutting the dress to the perfect length and being able to bustle my asymmetric style ball gown (which I thought was impossible), to adding cups in the dress so I didn't even need a bra ( and I am a 32 F) so also didn't think that was possible. She added off the shoulder sleeves to complete my look. The dress came out exactly as I envisioned.

  There were construction and alteration issues with my original wedding dress (note- original dress was not altered by Mervat). Two weeks before the wedding, after what was supposed to be the final fitting, we left the original alterations shop and drove straight to Castle Couture Off the Runway hoping to find an off the rack dress that required minimal adjustments.
  
  I found a dress that day, and the store recommended I go to Mervat’s for alterations. I called her from the parking lot, and she said to come in right away.
  
  The dress required hemming and strap adjustment. She also added a bustle for me. The total cost of the alterations was a 1/3 of what I paid for the failed alterations on the first dress - which was a relief. There were no rush fees, and they were kind enough to allow me to pay in full when I picked the dress up (alterations were cash only, I wasn’t prepared with the cash deposit that day).
  
  The dress was ready for pick up in one week. They showed my mom how to bustle the dress, allowed us to FaceTime my sister, and take as many pictures as we wanted - no rush.
  
  Although the style of dress I ended up wearing was not what I envisioned for myself, I am so grateful I found a dress to wear on such short notice and that Mervat was able to perfect the fit for me. They were incredibly accommodating and empathetic. They did a great job on the alterations. Also, the bridal gowns, mother of the bride/groom dresses they carried were so beautiful. I would suggest adding them to your list of places to shop, in addition to alterations.

  Mervat was amazing & so sweet. She made all the alterations to my dress perfect! Went to her for my wedding dress. She hemmed, added bustle, cups, partial zipper, & took in a little. It was so perfect 10/10 recommend.
