(February 8, 2023, 7:46 am)Was in the mood for some Dominican cuisine(since I’m half Hispanic ), and wanted to check out a local joint. Saw this place on DoorDash pickup. The prices were quite decent for their chicken dishes. Had the chicken, yellow rice, and beans and it was very good. The beans probably could use more flavor/spice, but the chicken and rice was delicious. Very Good portion of food for the money I’d say

(February 2, 2022, 11:29 pm)I love Merengue! I been going here for years but this was the first time I dined in. And honestly everyone is so kind and friendly there. I don’t speak good Spanish but the girls behind the counter were such sweethearts and Alex the owner is also so kind, warm and welcoming. The food is delicious! While we were eating there was a guy playing music from the country my family is from and he also bought us shots of tequila. Definitely didn’t expect that! We felt so comfortable and right at home. The sweet plantains is so delicious- my hubby all time favorite- but the yellow rice and beans- definitely my favorite!! My hubby and I loved every thing. Will definitely be coming back.
