  My experience at Menorah was very positive. I was there nearly two months, and the care and treatment I received enabled me to recover my strength after surgery. The facility is meticulously cared for. The rooms are beautiful, and the housekeeping staff work constantly to maintain cleanliness throughout the building.
  The head nurse on my floor, Nelli, was absolutely outstanding! She was on top of everything, knew what was going on and made the time to spend a bit of time with me that I greatly appreciated. The nurses dispensing meds as Andra and Katerina were superlative as well. I found the aids to be caring and courteous. I will always remember the care and kindness Ruhama Gray extended to me as I adjusted to the routines and the unfamiliar environment. Therapy included physical and O.T. In retrospect, I believe that physical therapy could have been more aggressive,. However, Natasha was excellent and Diana (O.T.) was extraordinary in her creativity and motivational tactics. The parking lot was a great boon to my visitors! The entire staff was very helpful transporting the patients back and forth for visits with family and friends as Covid restrictions prohibited guests from entering the facility except for the main lobby.
  I can only speak for my experience at Menorah. Thank G-d, it was wonderful, and I will always be very grateful.

  My mother is 90 and from our family I would like to thank all personal of Menorah. Before Menorah, my mother was in another nursing home in Brooklyn, and it is like day and night. Everything is very clean here; everyone is very polite and helpful. Everybody is very professional, from Admission office, Social worker office, every nurse, doctors. Everybody making extra steps, extra efforts. We feel very personal approach. My special thanks to Dr. Yotcha for your extra attention to my mother. But the top notch is the Physical Therapy. When my mother got to Menorah few months ago, she had muscular atrophy. She couldn’t even stand. And last week she made first steps again, with the walker, but first steps. What a huge progress. Thank you for your efforts, for your time with my mother, for giving us and her hope, that she will walk again.

  This was a great place for my dad's last 9-10 months. The administration (Dolores) and first floor (Tanya, Dennis) were helpful. The staff, the nurses, where great!! (Adrianna, Anna, Marina, Svetlana, Olga, Lazar, Aina, Jeanette, Maxine, Lubov, and ALL the others). While we were very apprehensive about putting my father in the nursing home facility, that was THE BEST thing for him and for my mom. He was as happy there as he probably would not have been if he would've stayed home. The amount of social interaction, the care, the smiles that surrounded him over the last months of his life, while having dementia, was a true blessing for him and for our family. Thank you, Menorah! Thank you, the nurses and all the staff!
