  Chashama Matawan was the host of past Monmouth County Youth Art Month Events. They were very supportive of AENJ and devoted their gallery space to feature the work of some of Monmouth County's very talented student artists. The MC YAM Chairs said they were very accommodating for their closing reception, which was well-attended by students, teachers, and family members.

  Last March, I attended the Monmouth County YAM Exhibit and Reception. Donna was a wonderful host. She was more than accommodating to meet the needs of the event. ChaShaMa devoted a large amount of their studio space to the event; as there was a room for art activities, a collaborative mural, refreshment tables. Their gallery housed dozens of student work from different schools within the county. ChaShaMa even volunteered to advertise for this event on their social media outlets. They were a wonderful partner and we are grateful we were able to work with them.

  It was an amazing space and we are grateful to the staff that they support Youth Art Month for Monmouth County. What a great space for the community. Thank you from the State Youth Art Month Chairs and the Art Educators of New Jersey.

  ChaShaMa is a wonderful gallery working to further the arts and art education scene in New Jersey. Their acting director is a huge arts advocate and helps to make sure shows in the Gallery go off without a hitch. Her passion for her work creates a culture of creativity in this small but meaningful art space.
