  Affordable Sushi Experience at Masa in Marlboro, NJ
  
  I recently visited Masa, a sushi spot in Marlboro, NJ, to take advantage of their half-price sushi promotion. As a fan of spicy sushi rolls, I ordered the spicy salmon, spicy shrimp, spicy lobster, and spicy yellowtail rolls. Although my expectations were high, my experience ended up being a mix of pros and cons, ultimately reminding me that "you get what you pay for."
  
  While the presentation of the takeout order was neat and appealing, I was disappointed to find that the sushi rolls appeared to be pre-made, resulting in an overall dry texture. The fish lacked the fresh, succulent quality that I typically look for in sushi, and the rolls didn't have the satisfying, moist consistency I had hoped for.
  
  Despite the dryness of the rolls, the spiciness was well-balanced, adding a pleasant kick to each bite without overpowering the flavors of the fish. The combination of flavors in the rolls was still enjoyable, even if they didn't quite hit the mark in terms of freshness and texture.
  
  One aspect that stood out positively was the speed of service. My takeout order was ready quickly, which is always a plus when hunger strikes. The staff was also friendly and efficient, making the overall process of ordering and picking up my food hassle-free.
  
  An important highlight of my experience at Masa was the half-price sushi deal, which made the meal an affordable option for those on a budget. While the quality of the rolls might not have been exceptional, the budget-friendly price point made the experience more palatable, proving that you get what you pay for.
  
  Taking into account the food, pricing, and service, I would rate my experience at Masa in Marlboro, NJ, as a solid 4 stars. While the sushi rolls were a bit of a letdown in terms of freshness and texture, the balanced spiciness, quick service, friendly staff, and budget-friendly prices made it a decent experience overall. I would recommend Masa to those looking for affordable sushi options, but with the understanding that the quality might not be top-notch.

  This is my go-to place for half-priced sushi. The service is fast and friendly. We usually get steamed shrimp shumai,, miso soup, seaweed salad, avocado salad, California roll, tuna avocado roll, and shrimp mango roll. My daughter usually gets the fancier rolls and she really likes them.

  READ this one!
  Ok this is two reviews. First have a back up for Apple Pay the restaurant has issues with it and we experienced it first hand We called " yes,yes we take it" we did not have our wallet. It did not work when we went to pay and it was can you leave a license do you have cash card??? I understand the waitress was nervous we skip a bill but it was a bit much. We went to the bank and brought her cash to pay the bill. So inconvenient.
  Now the food I give honest reviews always have always will. That said it's really really good 👍 Well priced delicious and fresh tasting. I loved the seafood salad. The food was very good in fairness to them. Enjoy
